General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these General Terms and Conditions (GTC’s) apply to all business between Snowsports Saanenland (SSSL) and its customers. The object of the company is the operation of a snow sports school. This includes, in particular, services such as giving lessons in the skills and knowledge of skiing, snowboarding and all other snow sports offered, without guarantee of a specific training success.
Payment for the services offered establishes the contractual relationship. Both services paid for on site and online reservations are considered confirmed bookings. The SSSL undertakes to comply with the offer sold, including the points mentioned below.
SSSL only guarantees the service if payment has been made in this respect. For short-term reservations that are not made online, the credit card details (card type, number, expiry date and security code) are required as a guarantee.
In principle, the snow sports instructors teach in all weathers; booked lessons can only be cancelled if the mountain railways stop operating and this makes teaching impossible.
Group lessons take place with a minimum of three people. If a group is reduced to less than three participants or if it is required by organisational reasons, the SSSL reserves the right to combine groups with similar strength classes or different meeting points. Due to the flexible organisation, it is also possible to change teachers.
In the event of late arrival or premature termination of the activity, there is no right to a refund.
Snow sports school ticket
The tickets of the snow sports school do not include the use of the mountain railways. The SSSL will not provide any compensation for cancelled lessons due to the cancellation of the mountain railways.
Tickets for lessons are personal and non-transferable.
Refunds will only be made in the event of accident or illness on presentation of a certificate from a local doctor. Refunds for cancelled bookings will generally be made using the same method of payment as the original transaction or by bank transfer.
The prices quoted are in Swiss francs. The prices are VAT-free. In addition to payment in cash, the most common debit and credit cards (except AMEX) as well as TWINT are accepted at the points of sale.
Cancellation of private lessons
Cancellations up to 7 days before the 1st lesson are free of charge. From the 6th to 1 day before the
1st lesson, 50% of the total amount will be charged. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged in full.
SSSL reserves the right to replace an unpaid reservation of group or private lessons with paid bookings in case of no-show or unavailability.
Changes and postponements of the booking up to 24 hours before the 1st lesson are free of charge. If the booking is changed for the same day in less than 24 hours, the lesson time will be charged. If the booking is postponed to another day, an additional fee of CHF 50.- will be charged.
The days of lessons attended will be charged according to the tariff. Each day that has been missed will be charged in full.
The SSSL is not liable for accidents that occur before, during or after snow sports lessons and competitions. Participants are responsible for taking out accident or liability insurance.
The SSSL reserves the right to use any photographic material for marketing purposes. Guests may revoke permission to use and share data and images at any time by sending a message to firstname.lastname@example.org. The data necessary for the business transaction will nevertheless be treated confidentially.
